The Premium DC53 Steel Blade is made of DC53 stainless steel, with a hardness of 60-62HRC. This steel is better in edge retention and harder than many other steels like D2, 14C, and black blade. The blade is coated with a black titanium layer using a stone wash process, while the silver blade is finished using a wire drawing process and sand finish.
